During statewide consultations in late 2015, more than 1,000 Queenslanders joined a conversation about the future of education in Queensland.
Throughout the 10 week consultation process, Queenslanders overwhelmingly confirmed their support for the direction set for education across the state and told us we must continue to innovate to meet the demands of our globalised world.
The refreshed Advancing education action plan builds on the progress we have already made and responds to the call from Queenslanders for a greater focus on active partnerships with the community, strengthening teacher excellence, and equipping students with the skills they need to be job-ready for the future.
We will be releasing further details about our plan in the future and reporting on our progress.
Working together we will make a difference for every child and young person.
